Traditional window films use metal. Because of this, they are subject to corrosion (especially in coastal areas) and are known to sometimes interfere with mobile phone reception. As you probably know, a major drawback of traditional window films is that they tend to reflect like mirrors. Our 3M's spectrally-selective films reject up to 97% of the sun's infrared light. What this means to you and me is that it keeps your home cool and can lower your energy bills.

Prestige Series films will also block up to 99.9% of the sun's harmful UV rays. again, for you and me, this means a safer living environment and far less fading of furniture and more..

Creating a clear window film with all these advantages wasn't easy but it was worth it many times over. It required the world-leading, nano-technology laboratories of 3M to get it right.
